AoS coffee morning in Glasgow

Apostleship of the Sea (AoS) were busy raising money over the Bank Holiday weekend with a well-attended Coffee Morning on Saturday, 28th May in St Aloysius Church, Garnethill, Glasgow.
Parishioners and visitors alike flocked to the auditorium in the city centre parish after both 10am and 12.30pm Masses to enjoy some refreshing tea and coffee as well as some tasty treats, all specially prepared by long-time supporter and parish contact Gina Lowe.
Along with a fun raffle, a total of £310 was raised on the day as AoS warmed up in positive fashion for Sea Sunday 2016, which will be held on 10th July this year.
Special thanks go to Gina for all her hard work in preparing the refreshments which were enjoyed by those in attendance.
Parish Priest Fr Curtis said: "It was fantastic to see so many attending this very important fund-raiser in aid of such a good charity.
"We all know the importance of seafarers to our every-day lives. That why it's so vital to offer our full support."
