Stella Maris is the official maritime agency and charity of the Roman Catholic Church. As an international Catholic maritime charity for over 100 years, Stella Maris serves the spiritual, pastoral and practical needs to all seafarers, fishers and cruise ship workers around the world. Stella Maris (Great Britain) is seeking a very faithful and highly motivated individual to support this specialised mission of the Church to the People of the Sea.
Located in Southampton, the Manager of Chaplaincy Support Services will manage and co-ordinate all supporting services towards meeting the operational requirements of Stella Maris port chaplains and volunteer ship-visitors in achieving both the mission and ministry of providing the spiritual, pastoral and practical needs of the People of the Sea.
The successful applicant would be required, at times, to work from home, or at various Stella Maris locations within the UK and thus be willing to travel. It is preferred that applicants live within a short driving distance of Southampton.
