Fundraise For Us

We rely on people from all walks of life to raise money for us. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to fund our vital services and continue to care and support seafarers.

Giving up a little bit of your time to raise some money for Stella Maris can be really rewarding. You’ll feel a real sense of pride for helping to improve the lives of seafarers, who work to bring you things you often take for granted. You’ll meet new people. And you’ll have plenty of opportunities to have some fun. We’ve got loads of fundraising ideas for you and advice on how to bring in the money in the best way possible.

There are many ways in which you can help raise money for Stella Maris and have fun in the process! You can choose to:

Just Giving
When we run fundraising events, or have individuals doing fundraising for us, we use Just Giving for all our online sponsorship. Each person creates their own fundraising page, and the website allows donors to donate money directly for that fundraising event. It is an efficient way to handle online sponsorship. You can also just donate directly to Stella Maris through our main charity page.

Ebay for charities
You can now Sell your unwanted goods on eBay and at the same time raise funds for Stella Maris. EBay for Charity allows you to list an item on eBay and donate 10-100% of your final sale price to us – it’s that easy. To learn more about how you can support us on eBay, visit www.ebay.co.uk/charity

Giving Lots
Giving Lots is a charity auction site through which people can buy donated items with the money for the item going to a nominated charity. We often have items up for auction that have been kindly donated to us, and we will let you know when we have items for sale. Do visit our Buy Once Give Twice charity home page from time to time to check what is listed. We are also always looking for items to sell. So if you have an item, an experience or a valuable souvenir that you are happy to donate to us to put up for auction, then please contact us.

The Giving Machine
You can now generate free cash donations for the Stella Maris every time you shop online at certain shops. It will not cost you anything extra – the online shop pays the donation on your behalf. To sign up for this scheme just go to www.TheGivingMachine.co.uk and follow the steps below:
